The Center for Health Effects of Environmental Contamination (CHEEC) is seeking a temporary summer intern.

The non-UI student intern will contribute to research activities at the Center for Health Effects of Environmental Contamination related to the occurrence, fate and impact of various chemical contaminants in the environment. Specific tasks will include assisting with sample collection, processing and analysis; conducting experiments; collecting and analyzing experimental data; and contributing to efforts associated with research dissemination activities (e.g., preparation of figures and tables).

Rate of pay: $15 per hour

Required qualifications: pursuing a major in environmental engineering or a related field.
