This Position reports to:

EL Commercial Operations Manager

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan, direct, and monitor all activities in the warehouse. Each day, you will develop and manage warehouse operations to effectively control the receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch of products, systems, and services to customers. You will also showcase your expertise by proposing and managing the annual warehouse budget.

The work model for the role is onsite in our Dallas, TX distribution center (#LI-Onsite).

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Optimizing warehouse capacity, inventory, and floor utilization.
- Aligning HSE strategies with 3PL provider to ensure highest HSE standards
- Establishing work procedures to meet warehouse demands.
- Facilitating HSE risk assessments and ensuring all necessary preventive measures against the identified hazards are implemented.
- Supporting the DC Operations Manager and HSE Hub Leader in reporting progress with respect to the implementation of the group-level HSE objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), as required.

Qualifications for the role:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field with 6+ years experience in the following: Warehouse, Shipping & Receiving, internal logistics, inventory, material handling, distribution operations.
Preferred Qualifications Include: 3+ years HSE leadership experience and OSHA Authorized 30 Hour Instructor, EMT Certification, First Responder Certification, ASP or CSP designations.
Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and SAP (preferred).
Ability to build relationships, speak/present effectively in interpersonal situations and before groups of employees comprised of various levels of personnel, from senior executives to facility personnel.
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
