Position Summary:

SIG SAUER is seeking an enthusiastic, driven and process-oriented team member who appreciates retail and collaboration, with a deep understanding of the role visual merchandising plays in developing and delivering the ultimate consumer experience at retail. You will be an integral part of the development and execution of visual merchandising programs to reach targets from brand awareness to product promotion in our dealer network. This position reports to the Manager of Visual Merchandising of SIG SAUER.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Annual Programming: Co-create and drive the vision, strategy and implementation of new POP/display and visual merchandising programs across multi-channel retail environments, spanning areas including, but not limited to new product introductions/launches, promotions, consumer programs, holiday/seasonal and more.
  • Project Management: Develop new project management mindset across various projects - embracing key "dates and gates" approach inclusive of cross-functional kickoffs, planning cycles, executional excellence and post-mortem reviews.
  • Flagship Retail: Assist with planning and implementing Flagship Store new visual merchandising programs related to the SIG SAUER Flagship Store
  • Database Management: Create and maintain graphic databases related to in-store executions using SIG internal systems.
  • Technical Directives: Read, create, edit and modify technical documents for Planograms, Point-Of-Purchase (POP) Displays and Fixture Documentation.
  • POP Programs: Manage, track and document POP, fixture and merchandising changes.


Budget Management:



  • Fiscal Responsibility: Manage and track all department spend - ensuring transparency across key internal stakeholder groups.


Vendor Collaboration:



  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to complete projects E2E

  • Identifying Opportunities: Identify and socialize new areas of opportunity to explore evolving existing and implementing new in-store initiatives.
  • 5S Standards: Participate in and sustain 5S Standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Engage in and actively volunteers for continuous improvement projects/tasks.


Education/Experience & Skills:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Industrial Design or related field (or extensive experience in Visual Merchandising in lieu of a degree).
  • 2+ years of experience in retail marketing, visual merchandising, product merchandising or directly related experience.
  • Hands on experience with visual software required (such as Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (including strong knowledge of excel)
  • Knowledge and understanding of innovative visual merchandising trends and best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with rapidly changing priorities while maintaining strong focus on execution and results.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with an ability to communicate at all levels of an organization both internally and externally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up, budgeting, and time management skills.
  • Adept at handling multiple complex projects simultaneously under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of marketing communications.
  • Willing to travel to organized events as needed, and willing to work evenings and weekends.


Working Conditions:



  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer using a keyboard and mouse performing repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend, and twist, lift and move files.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
  • Must comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements and adhere to SIG SAUER Inc. Security Mandates.
