IT System Analyst

We are currently seeking an IT Systems Analyst with a strong foundation in software development, systems analysis, and modern web technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience working with PostgreSQL, Python, and Java, and demonstrate the ability to translate complex business requirements into functional technical solutions.

Estimated Starting Salary Range for IT System Analyst:

Pay commensurate with experience.

IT System Analyst Responsibilities Include:

• Design and implement scalable and efficient IT system solutions.
• Develop and maintain web interfaces using frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Perform system testing, data modeling, and performance tuning on PostgreSQL databases.
• Document system specifications and technical procedures, and perform impact analyses for proposed changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather system requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Support the automation of reports and contribute to the development of SDLC documentation.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

IT System Analyst Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an IT Systems Analyst or a similar role.
• Proficiency in programming languages including Python and Java.
• Experience with web development using React, Angular, or similar frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL: data modeling, SQL, tuning, and migration.
• Demonstrated experience with gathering requirements and system documentation.
• Familiarity with report automation tools and software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
