We are looking for a highly skilled Solutions Architect. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Spring boot and Java solutions architecture. This role encompasses leadership responsibilities, including different planning strategies. By ensuring robust and efficient system operations, the candidate will play a key role in advancing our company's mission.

Location: Charlotte, NC - USA (hybrid)

• Design and develop scalable and efficient solutions using Spring Boot and Java technologies to meet business requirements in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring solutions align with strategic objectives and industry standards.
• Oversee the integration of new technologies and frameworks into existing systems, enhancing functionality and performance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure alignment with coding standards, maintaining high-quality deliverables.
• Lead the architecture design sessions, promoting innovative approaches to solve complex problems and improve system architecture.
• Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies that enhance productivity and streamline development processes.
• Ensure solutions are secure, reliable, and scalable, addressing potential risks and vulnerabilities proactively.
• Collaborate with project managers and business analysts to ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide solutions that enhance business operations and customer experience.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying relevant insights to improve solutions and processes.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent and 8+ years of demonstrated experience.
• Experience as Solutions Architect specialized in Spring boot and Java.
• As an Architect specializing in Spring Boot and Java Solution Architecture, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust solutions for the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
• With a hybrid work model and day shifts, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency in our projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain documentation for architecture designs, processes, and standards, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuity.

The annual salary for this position is between $70k - $135,500K depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
