The Position
2025 Fall Intern - Translational Medicine OMNI Department Summary The Department of Translational Medicine leads biomarker discovery and development efforts for programs in Early Stage Research through Phase III clinical trials. We use relevant pharmacodynamic biomarkers to evaluate target-engagement and mechanism of action of candidate therapies as well as prognostic biomarkers to guide patient selection. Our department is responsible for developing biomarker strategies, designing and implementing biomarker assays, and interpreting biomarker results. Biomarker team leaders within the department provide scientific leadership on biomarkers for clinical trials ranging from early proof-of-concept through global Phase III. We are currently seeking a highly-motivated intern to provide computational support on clinical development projects in Lupus. Specifically, the candidate would support the data analysis of pharmacodynamic and clinical biomarker data from various clinical studies to understand the investigational drug's impact on relevant immunological and pathological processes. Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location for this position in California is $50.00 per hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
