Location: Corewell Hospitals - East (service areas) Position Type: Casual Reports To: Community Health Program Manager Salary: $20/hour Job SummaryProgram Coordinator Assistant teaches community health promotion programs. The primary focus for this Program Coordinator Assistant will be car seat safety. Programs are held at a variety of community locations in the Corewell Health service area of Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties with focus on Wayne County. This role requires a wide range of complex functions including following technical protocols or program curricula, using presentation and counseling skills, adapting education messages to a wide variety of audiences, entering program data, handling equipment/supplies and record keeping. It will be necessary to be able to carry car seats up to 50 pounds and to be able to climb in and out of vehicles. Individual would also be exposed to some weather conditions, events are outdoors in Michigan. This role is contingent on program needs and requires about 60 hours a month. Essential Functions
