Primary Purpose

Maintains inventory control, distribution and par stock levels in assigned area to meet the equipment and supply needs of the department.

Experience:

• Must have one-year experience working with supplies and equipment in a healthcare or inventory control environment.

Equivalent Experience:

• May have an equivalent combination of education and experience for above required experience.

Certification/Registration/Licensure:

• Must have a valid Class C drivers license.

Skills or Special Abilities:

• Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of related equipment and its use, inventory/stock control, record maintenance, and simple arithmetic.
• Must be detail-oriented, with good organizational skills.
• Computer skills preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with all hospital employees.
