GENERAL FUNCTION

Reporting to the Director, Managed Vision Care Services, the Sr. Manager, Managed Vision Care Services will join a team of Managed Care Manager who support Managed Care Plan (MCP) customers and the commercial organization with a variety of activities, including re-contracting and expanding account engagements. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and leading targeted business plans to drive revenue growth within the assigned MCPs and projects, including being responsible for managing activation plans for all commercial sales efforts. This individual will collaborate with the Commercial Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing and Sales Education teams, as well as Managed Vision Care Account Managers to orchestrate how these teams connect to create value for the MCP and the provider.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Create, design and drive the strategy and business plans for contracting, formulary changes and overall provider engagement activities for Managed Vision Care plans
  • Drive an increase in ECP mix and ASP by providing commercial account executives with customer insights and tools to recommend enhancements
  • Champion the development of communication and education materials, as well as other tools, to convey a clear and concise value proposition to the providers; This includes planning for, development and delivery of collateral, slide content, thought leadership, training enablement and other materials related to the MVC value story, capabilities and services
  • Establish and maintain strong business relationships with account managers
  • Analyze and present results to team and leaders, including financial and activity-based outcomes
  • Rationalize and connect with various ECP experience initiatives, projects and programs across multiple Managed Vision Care Plans, providing solutions for immediate business challenges
  • Influence senior leaders in a matrixed, cross-channel environment to adopt a common agenda
  • Remain up-to-date on business results and market changes in order to drive initiatives that improve relationships with providers and plans
  • Conduct presentations for commercial meetings as the subject matter expert to present program overviews, value proposition and financial outcomes
  • Contribute to and drive additional projects and initiatives assigned by the Director, Managed Vision Care Services and SVP, Managed Care, Eyewear Safety and Classic Optical


QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in customer-facing roles supporting customer success and revenue growth; preferably working with complex/ large accounts
  • Strong analytical skills; ideal analytical experience in analytical/ consulting optical industry
  • Strong understanding of sales process
  • Entrepreneurial mindset while possessing the ability to work as a team
  • Provide ability to:

    • Develop and execute business plans effectively
    • Understand that customer value and satisfying customer requirements
    • Lead and maintain teams without direct supervisory control


  • Consistent sense of urgency and ability to pursue and follow-up on all internal and external commitments/ needs
  • Experience in matrix organizations
  • Outstanding presentation skillset (including the design, content creation and presenting)
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time (customer meetings, commercial meetings and other ad hoc meetings)

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
