Position Summary:

The Senior Manager, Integrations will lead the direction, execution, and continuous improvement of Ventura Foods' integration development initiatives. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, leadership, and business acumen to drive integration projects that support the company's global manufacturing and business systems. The Senior Manager, Integrations will work cross-functionally to align integration development solutions with business objectives, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency. Additionally, this individual will provide mentorship, governance, and oversight to integration development teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior management on strategic direction, goal setting, and system integration initiatives.Build strong partnerships to manage demand, expectations, and adoption for integration services.
  • Lead and manage integration development teams, setting vision, goals, and execution strategies to drive high-performance integration solutions.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of developers, architects, and analysts, ensuring the quality of work prior to deployment.Provide visibility to leadership of the team's priorities, handling team-related communications in established operating mechanisms.Manage the development process using waterfall, Agile Scrum/Kanban.
  • Ensure the engineers collaborate closely with business analysts, process owners, architects, developers, and operations teams to translate business needs into scalable and sustainable integration development solutions.Partner with security and infrastructure teams to ensure integrations adhere to cybersecurity best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage B2B integrations with trading partners, including onboarding processes and partner development strategies.
  • Supervise the development and maintenance of integration development standards, best practices, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency and compliance across projects. Document integration development methodologies, architectures, and operational guidelines for both technical and business stakeholders.Oversee code reviews, development best practices, and quality assurance to enhance integration reliability and performance.
  • Mentor and develop integration developers and architects, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Train, manage, and grow team for support of integration initiatives.
  • Handle escalations and urgent scenarios with proper priority, attention, and demeanor.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • 12+ years of delivering scalable, secure enterprise integration solutions using ESB, iPaaS, or middleware technologies.
  • 5+ years of direct people leadership.
  • 8+ years leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of integration solutions
  • 6+ years of experience managing integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, or equivalent iPaaS solutions.
  • 6+ years of experience in a corporate IT environment with progressive responsibility and leadership.
  • Experience integrating ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards or similar) with EDI platforms.
  • Strong background in API-led architectures, API development, and API management.
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing REST, SOAP, XML, and JSON-based integrations.
  • MBA or Masters of Science is highly desirable.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Expertise in MuleSoft, Cloud Hub 2.0, API-led connectivity, API Manager, and Partner Manager.
  • In-depth knowledge of EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and integration protocols (AS2, SFTP, FTPS).
  • Experience with manufacturing systems, including ERP, PLM, SCADA, IoT, and related applications.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems like Github.
  • Strong understanding of security protocols such as OAuth, JWT, and TLS in integration scenarios.
  • Hands-on experience with integration technologies such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, JMS, and web services.
  • Strong understanding of integration development patterns, event-driven architectures, and message-based integrations.
  • Strong business planning skills, and project planning skills, effectively arranging resources and managing multiple small to large projects in a cross-functional environment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration development challenges.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive enterprise-wide integration development initiatives.
