Director of Clinical Practice - Emergency Services - Full Time

SUMMARY

The purpose of the Director of Emergency Services Clinical Practice job is to provide direct leadership and strategy for the Emergency Services division education program. The position will provide leadership and guidance to the Quality Specialist as well as the Resource Nurses in the Emergency Services division. The Emergency Services Quality Specialist, The ED Charge Resource Nurses, The IOU Quality Specialist, as well as the Marcus Trauma Center Quality Specialist will report to this position. This position reports to Vice President Emergency Services.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Current Georgia License as a Registered Professional Nurse
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field required.
• In lieu of a master's degree, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with eight (8) years RN experience in emergency nursing setting.
• Master's degree in Nursing or candidate preferred
• Basic Life (BLS) Certification and
  ACLS Certification required
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in use of Microsoft Office required
