Position: MRP Purchasing Coordinator Dept: Pigment Operations

Location: Amelia, Ohio Reports to: MRP Controller

Position Requirements and Experience:

• In conjunction with MRP Controller;
• Maintain databases, records and logs.
• Ensure that Coordinates and procure pigments, goods and services for manufacturing plant in production/manufacturing work flow is optimized and customer orders are filled.
• Orders all international goods (site wide), pigments, non-raw materials, non-Sun chemicals and press cakes for Main Plant
• Initiates and owns transport of raw materials & pigments from Sun warehouses to supply MP production
• Analyze monthly container counts and places a month's worth order for all container styles.
• Continuous follow-up with container vendors is necessary and all changes made are to be changed in the system
• Works in partnership with MRP Controller to ensure all raw materials & pigments are available 3 - 6 months in advance to meet MP production schedule needs
• Directly interact with vendors and suppliers regarding order status, forecasting, and negotiate delivery dates to align product delivery to meet MP production needs
• Update MP production schedule daily with pigment truck delivery dates
• Assist MRP Controller with corrections needed to manufacture products properly based on material availability and correct formula alternates
• Acts as back-up to MRP Controller
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Skills:

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED
• Computer Skills:l MS Office Word//Excel/PowerPoint/
• SAP, ARIBA (preferred)
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing is critical
