What We Do The Marketing Specialist family is intended to be a generalist family in that it covers a wide variety of marketing specialties included but not
limited to those below. Incumbents in these positions can be focused on one specialty for much of their time or can be cross-functional with
focus on more than one of the specialists listed below. In addition, these specialties may deliver content & communications via a variety of
methods such as digital, print and publication etc.
Direct Marketing/Advertising/Promotional:
Direct marketing involves sending promotional marketing materials directly to consumers (print and publication).
Product/Brand Marketing:
Product/Brand marketing is the focus area devoted to strategically bringing a new product or service to market. This discipline sets the
strategy, guiding many of the other marketing specializations listed. Much of their work is based on research to understand the important
variables related to competitors' products, review and synthesize consumer research information and meet with product development teams
to better understand the features of the product. This information is then used to formulate an overall product marketing strategy.
Content Marketing:
Content marketing is all about creating content-basically any consumable piece of information-that serves a purpose beyond just
promoting a product. Content marketing can build positive sentiment for a brand by attaching the brand to something genuinely helpful or
entertaining.
Social Media Marketing:
The purpose of social media marketing is generally to drive traffic to a company's website while boosting overall brand awareness and
customer loyalty. Marketers achieve this by using a variety of methods on various social media platforms, from Facebook to Snapchat and
everything in between. Social media gives brands and businesses the opportunity to interact with the public in a personalized way.
Database Marketing:
Database marketers collect information about consumer preferences to create targeted messages to consumers.
Marketing Research & Analysis:
Market researchers employ several tactics for picking the brains of the public and gathering information and interpreting the data.

* Essential functions are typically described in terms of gathering information, reviewing data, applying concepts, etc.
Typically, an entry level position in a professional career path, learning to use professional concepts. Develops functional
knowledge. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues. Works in partnership with team to gather information and complete assignments.

overall accuracy

* Good written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and focus on immediate assignments
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Typical Education
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Typical Range of Experience
* 0-3 years of experience

The pay range for this role is $26.21 p/hr. - $34.95 p/hr.

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
