Sr Supply Chain Sourcing Prof Location(s): Starr, SC, US, 29684 Function: Supply Chain Audience: Experienced Professional Work Arrangement: On Site Requisition ID: 64997 PURPOSE OF THE JOB This position will be responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors. They will select merchandise for order, place orders, and stay involved in inventory distribution. This role will evaluate vendor quotes and services to determine the most desirable suppliers. In addition, they will support the plant and maintenance functions and must coordinate necessary resources to meet desired outcomes. They will effectively communicate with all levels of the organization internally, as well as customers and suppliers. This position supports the business by ensuring quality maintenance and repair materials, packaging, and direct materials arrive in the right quantities, and at the right time. They will also focus on continuous improvement in buying, spare parts, the Storeroom, and other parts of the plant. In addition, this role will oversee the Storeroom.
