Position Title: Production Associate Wage: $18.00/Hour Shifts: 2nd Shift Hours: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM Monday - Friday Join a client company that helps improve the lives of people and animals alike-packaging high-quality wood products in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment where your strength, stamina, and attention to detail are key to keeping operations moving smoothly and safely. Production Associate Responsibilities: - Pull bag from box and place over chute - Press button to fill bag with products (machine is set up to know how much to fill) - Remove bag with product and push through sealer onto round table - Remove bagged product from round table and stack on pallet - Once pallet is filled push into wrapping machine so entire pallet of product is wrapped - Push pallet on conveyors forward for a forklift to remove Requirements For Production Associate: - Standing and walking up to 10 hours on a concrete floor throughout your shift - Twisting and bending at the waist - Lift and move up to 50lbs. occasionally, 30 lbs. continuously - Must be able to push bagged items down the conveyor - Must have High School Diploma or GED - Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required - Must be able to work in a warm environment, especially in the summer time, it does get warm and humid - Must be able to work in a dusty environment QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
