Job Title:Sr Principal Solutions Advisor (Category Management)

Location: Virtual within the US

Travel: Ability to travel up to 50%

Overview:
Blue Yonder, a leader in supply chain software solutions, is seeking a highly experienced Sr Principal Solutions Advisor to join our Sales team, specifically focused on our Category Management solution. The Sr Principal Solutions Advisor plays a key role showcasing and demonstrating Blue Yonder's solutions in Category Management. The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of Category Management solutions within the supply chain industry and a proven track record in sales and business development.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide expert guidance and support to clients throughout the sales process, including demonstrations and presentations
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique business processes, challenges, and needs to tailor and present customized solution offerings
  • Lead and facilitate customer discovery workshops to identify business requirements, and design and present tailored demos, Proof of Concept (POC) workshops, and solution walk-throughs
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors
  • Partner with Sales to formulate strategic account plans that drive solution adoption and client satisfaction
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Blue Yonder's Category Management solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, technical, and marketing teams, to ensure the success of sales efforts
  • Deliver regular updates on sales progress and strategic initiatives related to Category Management to senior management
  • Maintain and advance technical and business acumen related to industry trends and directions, ensuring relevancy and alignment with market demands

What We Are Looking For:

  • MUST have a minimum of 10 years' experience in Category Management as a Pre-Sales Advisor, Consultant, or Solution Architect
  • Must have a a strong backround in sales and business development, with a focus on supply chain solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills with a penchant for storytelling and designing narrative-driven demos
  • Proficiency with SaaS deployment and configuration; experience showcasing SaaS solutions in a Pre-Sales context is highly preferred
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with acute attention to detail
  • Collaborative team player capable of working across various departments and organizational levels
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

The base salary for this role is $160,000 - $200,000 with a variable component.

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
