Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Design, develop and prototype Android customer application for phone and tablets for internal and external use Participate in full app life-cycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test and release to app store Work with product teams on new product ideas, designs, prototypes and estimate Keep up-to-date on current and upcoming features in relevant products and platforms Drive a best practices approach to the continuous improvement of our products, processes, and tools Write and maintain documentation for all features in development Collaborate with the design team to define app features Ensure quality and performance of the application to specifications Identify potential problems and resolve application bottlenecks Fix application bugs before the final release Publish application on App Store Maintain the code and atomization of the application Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering 5-7 years of experience 5+ years of experience in Android Development using Kotlin and/or Java A senior Android developer who has expertise in Android native test automation solutions using Kotlin Development experience in Core Java Experience writing automated tests using frameworks like Appium Mobile Test Automation with Appium Experience designing and building native mobile applications on Android platform Experience designing and implementing application updates Proficient in Objective-C, Swift, Swift UI Extensive knowledge of XCode Knowledge of C-based libraries Proficient in Kotlin, Objective-C, Web Services, Rest Services, Core Java, CSS, HTML, Java Script, XML Proficient in code versioning tools including Git, Bitbucket Knowledge of C-based libraries Familiarity with Biometrics, push notifications, usage of Camera API's, etc. Android Desired skills: Experience with continuous integration and Unit tests Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
