Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking a Sr. Pricing Manager to join our team serving the U.S. Federal Government and related clients in support of our growing company in McLean, VA. The successful candidate will be an expert collaborator and work well in a collaborative environment.
This individual will lead pricing support of federal proposals for our fast-paced proposal team. The qualified individual will be responsible for leading the federal pricing process, developing pricing strategies for new business opportunities, and overseeing the team involved in pricing activities. This role requires in-depth knowledge and a shown history in the federal government pricing industry.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Sr. Pricing Manager, you will:


  • Lead and run the federal pricing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to develop pricing proposal documents for various contract types.

  • Function as Cost Volume Lead and provide pricing support on cost proposals including Task Orders, competitive contracts modifications, and extensions of varying complexity.

  • Develop detailed cost models and implement pricing strategies for federal proposals, collaborating with the capture team to achieve optimal pricing outcomes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights for pricing analysis and strategy development.

  • Conduct detailed market research and competitive analysis to advise pricing strategies and positioning for price-to-win positioning.

  • Collaborate with finance and legal teams to review and negotiate pricing terms and conditions in contracts.

  • Continuously improve pricing processes, tools, and methodologies for increased efficiency and accuracy.

  • Schedule and facilitate pricing planning and review meetings with business unit leadership and proposal leadership teams and generate pricing data calls for subcontractors.

  • Perform pricing analysis and tradeoffs, presenting alternatives to leadership to support pricing and staffing decisions.

  • Stay up to date with changes in federal government pricing regulations and industry standard processes, ensuring compliance and competitiveness.

  • Oversee the estimating process governance, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and ensure adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and CGS policies and procedures regarding cost proposal preparation, review, submission, and negotiations.

  • Work closely with government auditors to review and validate the estimating system, ensuring it meets all requirements set forth by the COR of DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency).

  • Demonstrate a high level of flexibility to support response to multiple simultaneous, fast-turn proposal responses.


Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, Accounting or Finance from accredited institution.

  • Minimum of 9 years pricing experience in US Government Contracting

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience leading people and leading department initiatives

  • Shown experience managing processes and leading teams in federal pricing activities.

  • Experience with GSA Schedule pricing

  • In depth knowledge of federal government pricing regulations including DCAA requirements

  • Experience developing pricing for various contract types (FFP, T&M, Cost Plus)

  • Strong understanding of pricing methodologies (ex: Price-to-Win, Black Hat), financial analysis, and other competitive positioning

  • Advanced oral and written communications skills (e.g., ability to write compliant and clear price proposals; ability to effectively interface with Sales Executives and Leadership).

  • Experience effectively leading complex priorities and deadlines and handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple priorities.

  • Experience applying standard proposal pricing and financial modeling tools.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Federal Government contracting.
  • Experience across the entire spectrum of US contract types as well as commercial pricing experience.

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is 155k - 185k.
    This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
