Job Details Financial CounselorJob Description Primary Responsibilities The Oncology Financial Counselor is responsible for meeting with patients and communicating insurance benefits and responsibilities to develop appropriate plans to assist the patient. The Financial Counselor assists in completing all patient assistance programs, drug copay programs, drug copay foundation applications required to receive external eligibility and internal financial assistance as well as if needed submitting Medical Assistance applications (Adult Category, Healthy Horizon, BCCPT, Emergency Medical Assistance, MAWD). Essential Functions
Education High School diploma or GED required. Associates degree in Business/Healthcare preferred. Work experience may be considered in lieu of the Associates degree. Experience Requirements
