Shifts Available:

Full Time | 8:30am - 5:00pm | Monday - Friday

Expected starting wage range is $36.85 - $45.48. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the eLearning Content Development Manager, the eLearning Specialist performs day-to-day administration and management of the company's LMS (Relias) and assists with course development. This includes, but is not limited to: providing customer support to Telecare's Relias supervisors, instructors and learners; troubleshooting LMS technical issues; maintaining the Training Department SharePoint site; developing and maintaining end-user documentation; creating custom reports as needed; and developing online modules to support Telecare's training needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

* Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of experience with learning management systems administration, or Two (2) years' experience with learning management systems administration

* Proficient in Articulate Rise and Storyline with proven eLearning course development experience as well as Microsoft Office Suite, with immediate Excel proficiency

* Applicant must be fingerprinted and receive clearance from Criminal Justice Department.

* Must be at least 18 years of age

* All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification. If the position requires driving, valid driver license, a motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment. Additional regulatory, contractual, or local requirements may apply.

Preferred:

* Two (2) years' experience providing computer or software customer support

* Demonstrated ability to perform at a consistently high level in a healthcare informatics/training field. Prior training development experience in the healthcare industry

* Basic website and / or SharePoint design experience

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS



  • Demonstrates the Telecare mission, purpose, values and beliefs in everyday language and contact with internal and external stakeholders
  • Administers the LMS, including managing the automatic enrollment of in-person training events, online modules, and requirement trackers
  • Creates standard and custom reports for Supervisors as needed to support training compliance
  • Maintains LMS data integrity by resolving duplicate accounts and ensuring accurate assignments
  • Sets and maintains security roles and access levels for LMS use
  • Ensures successful uploads from HRIS to LMS and coordinates changes as necessary
  • Provides ongoing proactive and as-needed technical support to the LMS for all end-users (LMS Learners, Supervisors, and Instructors) by solving technical issues and answering training questions
  • LMS management of in-person training events to support the clinical, NHO and leadership training objectives
  • Recommends solutions to use the LMS to deliver, track and measure compliance of training to meet organizational objectives
  • Works with the Help Desk staff to resolve any technical issues with the LMS
  • Uploads and tests SCORM files for custom modules
  • Collaborates with Training Department team members to support the Training Department intranet (SharePoint) site by updating content and ensuring accuracy of content
  • Follow through to completion with delegated assignments to support the Training Department
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts to design, develop and deploy interactive eLearning solutions
  • Writes narration scripts, applies graphic design skills, records software simulations, demonstrations, voiceovers, and creates and assists in content development of all applicable eLearning solutions
  • Reviews and edits existing eLearning modules to keep them current and relevant
  • Provides quality control for courses and verifies that every aspect of the learning material functionality, including navigation, spelling, interactions, etc.
  • Provides post-production technical assistance to troubleshoot issues, should they occur, and makes edits as necessary to improve courses
  • Remains current with technology tools and trends in Digital Learning
  • Manages instructor schedules, coordinates, and schedules live training sessions in all regional training centers
  • Creates and manages training calendars for all regions, including securing venues and coordinating meeting space, food arrangements, shipping training supplies, and managing vendor relationships
  • Acts as liaison to program, department, region or key stakeholders at programs hosting training events
  • Assists in the editing, production, and shipping of instructional materials
  • Maintains the Training Department SharePoint site
  • Manages preparation and revision processes of training documents and support materials with SME collaboration
  • Distributes course catalogs, processes registration and billing, and answers routine inquiries regarding courses and schedules
  • Obtains, assembles, and distributes course materials and teaching aids as required for each type of program
  • Coordinates and arranges for the use of audiovisual and other necessary equipment, finds and arranges for appropriate space and facilities for training, and ensures housekeeping, maintenance, and repairs are managed
  • Assists in the setup and takedown of events at corporate or as needed
  • Sends training notifications to participants, informing them about training demands and other important aspects
  • Keeps records about each training course and prepares reports and statistical summaries
  • Maintains and may reorder training materials, teaching aids, and information on outside programs
  • Contacts attendees and department representatives about the training program
  • Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, and/or changed at the discretion of management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, perform wrist deviations, hand and wrists repetitions, reach, twist, bend, lift and carry items and overhead weighing 25 pounds or less. Will frequently sit and constantly do simple grasping.
