Position Title: Systems Engineer

Position Overview
ISPA Technology is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Systems Engineer to support mission-critical systems engineering activities within the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) and the Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (PEO C4I). This position requires a strong foundation in enterprise architecture, naval systems documentation, and coordinated test and evaluation efforts across complex Navy systems.
Key Responsibilities


  • Lead or support systems engineering technical reviews and the development of technical artifacts throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Draft and manage formal Navy systems engineering documentation, including Interface Control Documents (ICDs), System Engineering Plans (SEPs), Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs), and System Design Descriptions (SDDs).
  • Coordinate and oversee system test and evaluation activities, including test planning, execution, and analysis across platforms and sites.
  • Apply enterprise architecture principles to guide the planning, design, and implementation of robust IT infrastructure aligned with PEO C4I's mission objectives.
  • Collaborate with Navy stakeholders, system developers, and integrators to ensure systems meet performance, interoperability, and lifecycle supportability standards.
  • Conduct trade studies, risk analyses, and performance assessments to inform technical decision-making.
  • Maintain awareness of DoD architecture frameworks (e.g., DODAF), NAVWAR/PEO C4I policy, and evolving technology requirements.



Required Qualifications


  • Master's degree in an Engineering discipline (e.g., Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering).
  • 10+ years of professional experience in systems engineering, including:

    • Hands-on participation in Naval systems engineering technical reviews
    • Drafting Naval systems engineering documents that align with NAVWAR/PEO C4I standards
    • Coordination of systems test and evaluation efforts at both developmental and operational levels
