Engineer - Advanced Read Channel Designer (Early Career)

The Device Physics Team within the Seagate Research Group (SRG) is responsible for conducting research on advanced data storage and memory technologies. The work performed by this team directly informs the Company's ten-year hard disk drive product roadmap.

* Conduct research on advanced channels for future magnetic recording applications.

* Perform channel characterization, equalizer design, detector design, modulation code design, and error correction code design.

* You must be able to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $94,000. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
