About our group:
The Device Physics Team within the Seagate Research Group (SRG) is responsible for conducting research on advanced data storage and memory technologies. The work performed by this team directly informs the Company's ten-year hard disk drive product roadmap. About the role - you will:
* Conduct research on advanced channels for future magnetic recording applications. * Perform channel characterization, equalizer design, detector design, modulation code design, and error correction code design. About you:

Your experience includes:
* Experience in programming languages (Cuda, C++, Fortran, Python) * Analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills * Clear and effective communication skills * Leadership, decision-making, and strong initiative * Strong planning and organizational skills * A bachelor's or master's degree in an engineering or scientific discipline Location:

The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
