Overview NaphCare is hiring a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join our team of medical professionals at the San Diego County Jail located in San Diego, CA. Payrates range from $45.90 - $48.45/hour As a Correctional Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs), you will provide mental health services, including assessments, treatments, and support to the facility residents, while working alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals. This is a unique position where you can make a difference to this diverse population of patients with complex mental health needs. Responsibilities The Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), is responsible for providing performing and documenting mental health evaluations, developing treatment plans, and monitoring progress notes. Additional responsibilities may include and not be limited to:
Providing individual and group therapy, including specialized groups like substance abuse or sex offender therapy
