- Develop and maintain strong client, vendor, and partner relationships
- Effectively markets and sells Moffatt & Nichol capabilities to various Federal and non-Federal client organizations. Understands and communicates clients emerging needs, budgets and upcoming projects
- Forecasts client needs and communicates those to the Company to ensure we are prepared to respond to them. Initiates captures and develops winning approaches for specific contracts and projects
- Communicates frequently with leadership on growth strategies, tactics, progress, opportunities, challenges, and priorities through structured routine meetings. Ensures actions are completed
- Participates in and leads industry organizations related to the market and identifies and participates in client meetings and presentations to enhance and solidify the company's brand in the market
- Act as Project Manager for multiple projects that may run concurrently and in multiple locations
- Provide oversight and management of the scope of work, budget, and schedule for the projects, including risk and change management
- Provide overall management of the project team during planning, design, construction, testing, acceptance and turn-over of the projects
- Perform coordination and communication with Client, contractors, engineers, Project Managers, and other professionals during the construction phase of projects
- Monitors projects for quality, efficiency, and adherence to various programs, budgetary, and legal requirements
- Lead all phases of project management, including program development, budgeting, planning & design, preconstruction, project implementation, project oversight and project closure
- Administers approval of project payments, change orders, shop drawings/submittals, and other administrative duties for critical projects
- Review plans and contract documents for critical projects
- Provide technical assistance and solutions and field engineering for critical projects
- Responsible for oversight of the Team and potentially approval for changes on projects, construction plans, bid documents, technical specifications and construction cost estimates
- Schedule and lead critical project meetings and assist PM's with others
- With support from Federal Contracts team, prepare critical agreements including scope, schedule, fees, and terms and conditions and communicate to project team members; review and authorize agreements; review and approve subconsultant agreements
- Provide direction to and monitoring of your Team, utilizing experience to resolve scope, design, and other challenges ensuring adherence to all standards, QA/QC processes, and other policies related to project execution and management.

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering; required
- Master's Degree in Civil, Coastal, Ocean, Environmental or Construction Management; preferred
- Professional Engineer License (PE); required
- 20+ years of experience in Civil Engineering, Program Management, and Construction Management; required
- 10+ years of experience with NAVFAC projects: required
- Ability to grow and maintain relationships with US government clients and specifically the Department of Defense including USACE, NAVFAC and USAF/AFCEC clients; required
- Knowledge of accounting principles, including budgeting and forecasting
- Handle multiple tasks under pressure and prioritize responsibilities
- Experience with business and strategic planning processes
- Experience developing existing and new client relationships
- Possession of or eligibility to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC); required
- Availability and willingness to travel
- Possess DBIDS card or eligibility to successfully pass background check to secure Department of Defense DBIDS card and other badges required by clients; required
- Due to client parameters, selected candidate must show (post offer) proof of U.S. citizenship and clear results of a thorough background check that may include but is not limited to credit and criminal history
- All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171
