GENERAL SUMMARY: As a PR & Integrated Communications Intern at Henry Ford Health, you will have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both external and internal communications within a dynamic healthcare environment. You will work closely with our external and internal communications teams to support initiatives and projects that contribute to Henry Ford Health's mission of improving lives through healthcare excellence. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in drafting external communications assets, such as news releases, media advisories, and media pitches. Support media interview coordination. Contribute to media event planning and execution. Assist with executive communication efforts, such as drafting remarks for speaking engagements and development of social media content. QUALITIES WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Strong written and verbal communications skills. Ability to work collaboratively and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail, which is crucial in both media relations and internal communications. A creative mindset to generate innovative PR ideas and strategic communications strategies.
