Staffmark
is seeking an experienced AV Technician to join our team in Houston, TX. If you have a background in AV system installation and troubleshooting, we want you to bring your expertise to our team!

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Shift: 2nd Shift

Responsibilities:



  • Install, test, and troubleshoot AV systems in K-12/classroom environments
  • Set up and configure laptops, desktops, Chromebooks, sound systems, projectors, screens, and video teleconference rooms
  • Oversee installation crews and assist Project Manager/Account Manager with overall project needs
  • Perform system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and report issues to Project Manager/Account Manager
  • Conduct pre-installation site surveys and post-installation walkthroughs with clients
  • Install structured cabling including Cat5e/6, video, RGB, HDMI, DVI, and audio cables
  • Install AV equipment, including audio and video conferencing equipment, distributed audio, digital signage, sound reinforcement, control systems, and presentation systems



Qualifications:



  • 5 years of experience in AV system installation and troubleshooting
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and internal teams
