Staffmark is now hiring a full-time Silk Screen Operator for a direct hire opportunity in Charlotte, NC. In this hands-on production role, you'll help bring custom journals and planners to life using silk screen printing machines. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with light industrial machine experience, a knack for precision, and a desire to work in a collaborative, quality-focused environment.

Hours & Pay:

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay Rate: $16.00-$19.00/hour, based on experience

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:



  • Operate and maintain silk screen printing machines to produce custom journals and planners
  • Troubleshoot machine issues and perform regular adjustments and cleaning
  • Mix inks and match PMS colors accurately (paper vs. apparel printing expertise preferred)
  • Handle and clean silk screens using alcohol-based solutions and water-based inks
  • Meet quality, productivity, and on-time delivery goals in a clean, organized workspace
  • Safely lift materials (20-30 lbs) and stand for extended periods during your shift
  • Work in a well-ventilated environment with occasional strong aromas from printing materials
  • Collaborate with your team and follow all safety protocols

Who We're Looking For:



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of machine operation experience in a light industrial setting (or 3+ months as a Journalbooks Production Technician)
  • Experience with CNC, silk screen print presses, or fine adjustment machinery is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to multitask
  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
