Staffmark is seeking an experienced Plant Controller for a well-established manufacturing facility in Pineville, Louisiana. If you're a hands-on financial leader with a strong background in manufacturing accounting, this is your opportunity to drive operational success and partner with plant leadership to achieve key business goals.

Salary: $110,000-$125,000/year (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities:



  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and manage the general ledger
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries
  • Analyze labor, costs, spending, and inventory for process improvements
  • Develop and manage standard costs, cycle counts, and physical inventory
  • Support capital expenditure analysis and reporting
  • Ensure internal controls and compliance with corporate policies
  • Provide financial insights for operational decisions and cost-saving initiatives
  • Drive accurate monthly closes and ongoing financial performance analysis



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CMA preferred
  • 5-10 years in manufacturing accounting
  • Strong understanding of standard costing and inventory control
  • Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Global Shop, etc.)
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
