Position Summary:
Carry out
research to understand the small-scale ejections and Eruptions.

Essential Functions:
-Analyze full disk
Halpha data from Big Bear Solar Observatory, to detect mini-filaments, and
their statistical properties; compare with magnetic flux rope as observed by
Parker Solar Probe.
-Target to
finish a paper on the above tasks.

Prerequisite Qualifications:
-BS in Physics.
-Experience in solar data
analysis.
-Familiar with IDL and Python programming.
-At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
