Summary:
Composes and types routine letters, reports and other materials. Maintains alphabetical, numerical or subject filing systems.

Responsibilities:
* Under close supervision, provide word processing, spread sheeting and other administrative support to various BEI staff
* Provide coverage for receptionist in main front lobby
* Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment
* Prepare spreadsheets
* Collect and coordinate time records for department
* Maintain filing system for department
* Greet customers, vendors and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
* Coordinate travel arrangements
* All employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds Customer Satisfaction.
* May train or mentor lower level administrators or clerical employees
* Work under general supervision and exercise independent judgment within prescribed parameters
* May assume projects from conception through completion

Other information:
* High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 to 3 years of administrative office experience
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Effective interpersonal skills
* Effective organization and prioritization skills
* Demonstrated high attention to detail
* Ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice
* Ability to demonstrate discretion, confidentiality and professionalism when representing the company
* Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required
* Ability to work with diverse groups
* Participate in a continuous improvement activity
* See job analysis forms for specific physical stressors of the job
* Effective ability to multitask and ability to take on additional responsibilities as required
* Work with and train diverse groups

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 to 3 years of administrative office experience
