Location: Mt. Sterling, IL or Chesterfield, MO

Department: Information Technology

Reports To: Director of Cyber Security

Salary Range: $64,701 - $97,051 annually, plus bonus opportunity

As Security Analyst, you will protect computer assets by establishing and enforcing system access controls, while helping to maintain disaster preparedness.

WHAT YOU'LL DO



  • Monitor system security and investigate access violations or areas of security concern
  • Provide technical support, resources, and education to employees
  • Recommend improvements to system controls and levels of access
  • Assist with development of standards, policies, and procedures to maintain network security
  • Enhance security awareness through on-going communication and education


YOU MUST HAVE



  • Bachelor's degree in applicable field preferred or equivalent Dot experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in network security
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and planning skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership, and take a proactive approach to problem solving
  • A dedication to eliminating waste in all areas of the position


YOU MAY ALSO HAVE



  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with SSE products (i.e. Netskope, Zscaler, Prisma Access, etc.)
  • Security+ Certification
  • Knowledge of any of the following strongly preferred: security policies, system administration, network security, firewall administration, network protocols, routers, hubs, switches


ROLE SPECIFICS



  • Travel - Occasional overnight travel for internal trainings and meetings. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train.
  • Schedule - after hours on call rotation to support business needs
