Astrion has an exciting opportunity for Technical Order Management Agency (TOMA)/Equipment Specialist for the ISR/SOF contract, supporting the Air Force Division.

JOB DETAILS:

LOCATION: Wright Patterson AFB; Dayton, OH

JOB STATUS: OPEN

TRAVEL: 5%

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

Security Clearance: Tier 5/Top Secret Security Clearance

Education:

Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field and at least 10 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 years of which must be in the DoD

OR Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/profession discipline being performed, 5 years of which must be in the DoD

OR 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications, 8 years of which must be in the DoD

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform data gathering, entry and analysis, using applicable automated systems
  • Provide a wide range of TOMA and ES support services for programs managed by the ISR & SOF directorate and AFLCMC/WIN Division
  • Provide editorial support including developing, editing, composing, illustrating, converting and performing Quality Assurance (QA) of Air Force, Country Standard TOs (CSTOs) and Flight Manuals (FM) in accordance with the DoD and Air Force Technical Manual Specifications and Standards (TMSS) and MIL-STD-3048
  • Provide TOMA support for the acquisition, sustainment, format approval, publication review, storage and distribution of TOs and related technical data in accordance with TOMA duties
  • Create and coordinate TO management documentation such as Technical Order Life Cycle Management Plan (TOLCMP), Technical Order Life Cycle Verification Plan (TOLCVP) and Comprehensive Air Force Technical Order Plan (CAFTOP) based on mission needs
  • Knowledgeable of Air Force TO processes and systems required to update and publish TOs from approved Publication Change Request (PCR) and other source documents provided by the Technical Content Managers (TCM)
  • Provide customer support for TO related questions
  • Provide technical data distribution and processing of One Time Requisitions (OTRs) and Initial Distribution (ID) of changes, revisions, supplements and TCTOs from final TOMA approval to Technical Order Distribution Office (TODO) delivery
  • Provide technical order library support to include establishing or sustainment of AF TO libraries in accordance with TO 00-5-1 to 00-5-16, DAFI 21-101 and other related TO policies.
  • Support the sustainment of engineering data to include data management, drafting, 3D model development, Bill of Material (BOM) development, CAD data processing, QA and repository services.
  • ES responsibilities for all USAF WIN programs

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform Configuration Management and Data Management (CM/DM) tasks related to the development, production, and support of various weapon systems and items of equipment acquired by AFLCMC/WI Directorate and AFLCMC/WIN Division.
  • Perform data gathering, entry and analysis using applicable automated systems while applying knowledge of the acquisition process.
  • Review program-unique specifications to include system, development and product specifications for both hardware and software
  • Process requests for nomenclature and for Computer Program Identification Numbers (CPINs) and track requests through appropriate government agencies
  • Support the configuration control function, including receiving, disseminating, tracking and final disposition of SOOs, SOWs, ECPs, CPPs, Requests for Deviation/Waiver (RFD/RFW), Deficiency Reports (DRs), airworthiness directive notes, service actions and notices of deficiency.
  • Make recommendations for Government Review and Disposition, assist with the preparation and facilitation of Configuration Control Boards (CCBs)
  • Provide advisory assistance in the support of Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs), Physical Configuration audits, and compliance audits
  • Support data reviews, including advisory and draft documentation assistance
  • Support to the Scientific and Technical Information (STINFO) and assist in control the dissemination
  • Provide support to the DR function, including advisory assistance to support the maintenance of the DR/Materiel Improvement Project (MIP) files and Joint Deficiency Reporting Systems (JDRS) database and weapon system contractors' databases.
