About the Job

60% Innovation Ecosystem Project Management
-Provide professional level support on projects, research and analysis, procedural studs, and planning.
-IP portfolio organization and dissemination
-Conduct independent research on markets and strategies. Gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, develop and communicate recommendations, prepare and
present reports.
-Present results to the stakeholder groups including ATP-Bio community, including leadership, the research enterprise and industry member partners.

25% Innovation Ecosystem Director Support
-Develop work plans in accordance with program/organizations objectives.
-Seek out and analyze data on the markets and technologies of ATP-Bio and other topics
-Assemble content and publish Innovation Ecosystem Newsletter
-Provide support for Innovation Ecosystem events, including planning, session moderation, and content generation

10% ATP-Bio Special Projects
-Work on International partnerships, Twin Cities STEM Strategic Planning, and others

5% Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:
-BA/BS degree or a combination of related education and work experience to equal four years
-Interest and ability in business analysis and data analytics
-Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization
-Capability to drive an independent workstream in the context of a broader team project
-Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations
-Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English

Preferred requirements
-MBA or Carlson MS program student or recent graduate
-Start-up or venture experience
-Other advanced degrees or training in technical field

About the Department

The NSF Center for Advanced Technologies for the Preservation of Biological Systems (ATP-Bio) vision is to stop biological time allowing living products to be readily available across the globe to advance healthcare, biodiversity, and food supply and sustainability. Its mission is to make transformative discoveries, train a skilled workforce, and connect resources and partnerships to ethically translate technologies for storage and distribution of living biological systems.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $25-30/hr; depending on education/qualifications/experience. This position is hourly.
