Mazak Corporation is looking for an Office Coordinator to join the team at our Southwest Technology Center located in Houston, TX. The Office Coordinator will perform several administrative, support, and customer service tasks ensuring efficient operation of the Southwest Technology Center office environment.
Scope and Responsibilities:
Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:
* Greeting all guests, customers, and vendors at Houston Technology Center
* Answering all incoming phone calls for Houston and Southlake offices
* Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including phone calls, emails, faxes, mail, and packages
* Monitoring and ordering inventory for Houston and Southlake offices including office supplies, break room supplies, etc.
* Maintaining and replenishing equipment brochures
* Plans local marketing and campaigns for Houston and Southlake offices
* Plans and posts local social media with entire sales staff and office staffs
* Travel coordinator for the entire Southwest region: flights, hotels, rental cars, etc.
* Coordinates and plans Open Houses for Houston and Southlake - brochures, emails, greeting, meals, breaks, refreshments, etc.
* Coordinates and plans Lunch and Learns for Houston and Southlake - brochures, emails, greeting, meals, breaks, refreshments, etc.
* Management of Consignment machines - coordinates monthly meetings, orders consignment machines, plans transportation and rigging, provides in-sight on new machines needed, etc.
* Maintain calendar of events for the entire Southwest region
* Proactively attains a safe, healthy and clean work environment for all employees
Education/Certification:
* High school Diploma or GED required
* 2-year administration degree or experience equivalent preferred
Skills:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and Teams
* Proficient in Adobe Suite
* Good organizational skills
