POSITION SUMMARY: Intermittent assistance with special events ESSENTIAL FUNCTONS: Setup and teardown of stages, tents, bars and more. Sign placement, guest awareness, info sharing, crowd control, etc. PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS: This is a standing/walking position for up to 12 hours each shift. May lift up to 100 lbs occasionally and up to 50 lbs often. Assistance is available for heavy lifting. Workers will bend, squat, kneel, climb, twist and reach above shoulder level on an occasional basis. Will use hands for grasping and pushing/pulling at a 25 - 30 lb level. Worksite is 10% inside and 90% outside. Exposed to all temperatures and all moisture ranges. Hazards are mechanical, electrical, and ice/snow. Uniforms are supplied. Sensory skills of vision, hearing, touch, smell and speech are needed. Must be able to maintain control and rational demeanor in emotionally charged situations involving guests and/or employees in situations that may have an audience. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Must be able to provide an extensive understanding of the mountain area as well as the services of Schweitzer. Must be available to work varying hours and days. |
