As a Logistics Analyst Associate your goal is to analyze logistics processes related to the movement of inbound and outbound shipments between suppliers, plants, customers and warehouse locations. You'll maintain appropriate records, prepare reports and coordinate logistics activities with internal and external customers. Additionally, you'll identify process improvement initiatives and participate in projects across the entire shipping process to help decrease costs and improve service. #LI-MD1 #LI-Hybrid

You will do this by:

  • Ensuring the right product is shipped complete and on time, to the right place for the right price
  • Providing frontline support for the daily logistics operations, resolves issues and works with multiple transportation modes; truckload, intermodal, LTL, air, ocean as applicable
  • Maintaining shipment visibility in carrier and ERP systems
  • Working with our 3rd party logistics providers and internal customers on continuous improvement processes to optimize shipments, scheduling and order processing focused on cost reduction and service improvements
  • Reviewing logistic charges, produces summary reports and reviews with internal customers

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field OR equivalent education and experience
  • 0-2 years experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP experience
  • Industry related internship experience

Additional Knowledge & Skills:

  • Working knowledge of the principles of transportation and logistics
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people and all levels in the organization
  • Comprehensive experience with Microsoft office suite of products, Google Applications, and other software associated with assigned work
  • Ability to develop knowledge of ERP systems, such as SAP
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, detail oriented
  • Ability to meet deadlines, organize and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
