Genesis10 is seeking a Systems/Business Analyst for a contract with our client in Minneapolis, MN. Location: Downtown Minneapolis. Required days onsite are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Job Description: The Systems Business Analyst II will be part of the Financial Data Governance team, responsible for system analysis, report building, and process improvements within the finance organization. The analyst will support month-end close processing, set up master data attributes, coordinate system updates with IT, manage system tickets, and review system processes. Additionally, the analyst will handle AdHoc projects and provide level 1 triage for report requests from the business. The resource will use Oracle SQL to pull information and post transactions into Power Plan, the company's capital subledger. They will work with various stakeholders to ensure adherence to standard processes, approvals, and user acceptance testing. This position requires someone highly skilled in SQL and capable of supporting system analysis, report building, and process enhancements. Required Basic Qualifications: Completed Bachelors Degree- Preferably in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or Information Technology 5+ years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst role. A background in accounting, finance, computer science, or information technology is preferred. Proficiency in SQL, particularly Oracle SQL Experience with financial systems such as PowerPlan and SAP The candidate should be detail-oriented and have cross-functional experience, which is helpful for coordinating with various departments and stakeholders Hours: The standard work hours for this position are typically from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, during month-end close, the workday may extend to 12 hours, starting at 6:30 AM and ending at 6:30 PM Central Time. The estimated overtime is around 10 hours per month.
