We are seeking a strategic and hands-on leader to oversee our IT Operations and Data Management functions. The Vice President will play a key role in ensuring reliable technology infrastructure, efficient system performance, and strong data governance across the organization. This position will lead teams responsible for IT support, systems administration, data architecture, and platform reliability.

Responsibilities

Data Management

  • Strategic Leadership: Finalize and execute the company's enterprise data strategy, promoting a data-first culture and enabling insight-driven decision-making across all functions.
  • Governance & Quality: Ensure enterprise data is accurate, secure, accessible, and aligned with compliance and business goals.

Billing Operations

  • Billing Oversight: Lead all aspects of the billing lifecycle, including A/R management, product and discount implementation, collections, treatment strategies, and invoice generation and delivery.
  • Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement in billing systems and processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Financial Alignment: Collaborate closely with Finance to ensure billing strategy supports forecasting, planning, and ROI-focused transformation.

Technology Operations & Infrastructure

  • Operational Excellence: Champion process optimization, automation, and the use of business intelligence tools to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Infrastructure Management: Lead IT infrastructure and service operations to ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience.
  • Systems Integration: Oversee the integration of technology platforms and data systems that power enterprise analytics, reporting, and strategic decision-making.

Business & Organizational Leadership

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, Customer Care, and Field Services to align technology initiatives with business priorities.
  • Change Management: Lead or support enterprise transformation efforts, ensuring the successful adoption of new systems, processes, and technologies.
  • Growth Enablement: Use technology, data, and analytics to identify opportunities that enhance customer experience, drive revenue growth, and improve margins.
  • Strategic Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team, influencing long-term business strategy through a technology and data lens.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive Leadership Experience: 15-20+ years in technology leadership, including at least 15 years managing large, cross-functional teams in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Industry Expertise: Significant experience in telecommunications, ideally with fiber broadband and/or private equity-backed organizations.
  • Transformation Expertise: Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide transformation, IT modernization, and operational reengineering initiatives.
  • Data & BI Proficiency: Deep understanding of data governance, analytics, and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to support strategic decisions.
  • ERP & Financial Systems Expertise: Proven experience managing enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms and adjacent solutions supporting financial controls, HR, and forecasting.
  • Executive Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex topics to executive and board-level audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Telecom-Specific Knowledge: Deep familiarity with telecommunications operations and business models.
  • Modern Architecture Proficiency: Experience managing diverse delivery models including SaaS, cloud-native environments, managed services, and event-based architectures.
  • Enterprise Systems Fluency: Expertise with modern financial and billing platforms, with an emphasis on scalability and integration.
  • Growth-Focused Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives that directly drive revenue growth and enhance the customer lifecycle.

Salary

Pay range (commensurate with skills and experience): $149,119 - $225,811
