The software engineer role at Salesforce encompasses architecture, design, implementation, and testing to ensure we build products right and release them with high quality.

Your Impact:

  • Mobile and front end development for Salesforce Personalization.

  • Designing mobile and Web UI interfaces, testing applications, debugging, and ensuring quality that perform and scale in a multi-tenant environment.

    • App design,Software design,Native app writing ability,Backend web services knowledge, Knowledge of UX and UI, Unit tests, automation, and code reviews, Creativity and brainstorming, Organization and ability to multi-task, Willingness to learn new technology, APIs, Complex problem solving

  • Experience handling large data sets in the cloud with the mobile application.

  • Integration with internal/external systems.

  • Test driven development practices as well as CI/CD tools and its usage.

Required Skills:

  • Prior experience working as a mobile application developer, or in a similar job role.

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in iOS and Android mobile development.

  • Experience in working with APIs.

  • Deep knowledge of programming languages such as: Java, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Kotlin, Swift, Objective-C, C++, Go, C#, Ruby, Scala, Python, etc.

  • Broad knowledge of web technologies such as REST, HTTP, JSON, Spring, gRPC, LWC/LWR, SOAP, XML, WSDL, etc.

  • Experience with Agile development methodology.

  • A related technical degree required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience on the Salesforce Core / Off Core stack.

  • Participate in the team's on-call rotation to address complex problems in real-time and keep services operational and highly available.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $157,600 to $216,700. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $172,000 to $236,500. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
