Role: Oracle Planning Cloud SME

Job Level: Senior Manager

Location: Preferred - Burlington, Vermont but can be Remote (EST Time zone)

Duration: Full Time only

Position Summary:

The role involves deep expertise in Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Cloud, particularly Planning Cloud (EPBCS) & focuses on implementing, configuring, and managing Oracle Planning Cloud solutions, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Functional Consultant will also be involved in data management, reporting, and integration with other Oracle Cloud modules.

Responsibilities:

* Designing, configuring, and implementing Oracle Planning Cloud solutions, including EPBCS (Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service).

* Working with clients to understand their business needs and translating them into functional and technical requirements for Planning Cloud.

* Developing data loading, transformation, and validation strategies for Planning Cloud.

* Understanding and applying technical skills in areas like metadata configuration, Data Management, EPM Automate, Smartview for Office, and potentially Essbase

* Preparing and executing test plans and scripts to ensure the accuracy and functionality of Planning Cloud implementations.

* Managing data and metadata interfaces with other Oracle Cloud modules, such as ERP and SCM.

* Creating functional design specifications, configuration specifications, and other relevant documentation.

Required Qualifications

* Deep knowledge of Oracle Planning Cloud (EPBCS)

* Excellent communication and consulting skills

* Degree in Accounting or Finance

Preferred Qualifications

* Familiarity with Consolidation Cloud, Account Reconciliation Cloud, Narrative Reporting, and Data Management are a plus.

* Strong understanding of FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) processes

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $138,000 - $162,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
