THE JOB: As a Lead Lifeguard, you will set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW moments and memories they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us. THE STARTING RATE: $17.00 hourly THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Oversee the lifeguard staff to ensure rotation, safety, cleanliness, and great guest service. Monitor pool and deck areas, respond to emergencies, and follow all safety protocols. Report any incidents involving guests or employees. Assist guests with seating, towels, amenities, and general poolside needs. Ensure the team greets guests and maintains a friendly, professional atmosphere. Support daily pool setup, breakdown, and overall upkeep. Work closely with other departments to keep operations running smoothly. Quickly handle guest concerns with a problem-solving attitude.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must be 16 years old or older. Has previous leadership experience in a pool, recreation, or hospitality setting. Must be able to swim to obtain the Lifeguard certification. Excellent communication and guest service skills; friendly, proactive, and professional demeanor. Can think quickly on their feet to solve guest issues with a calm and resourceful attitude. Is comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Flexible with schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed. A team player who motivates and supports their crew.
