Description

Position Summary & Responsibilities:

Finance business partner supporting the reagent manufacturing operations and the support functions of the SLC site.

  • Drive the forecast and budget processes for the site within the framework of the Group budget process and guarantee the respect of deadlines, procedures, and deliverables.
  • Establish control and analyze the monthly reporting (OPEX, CAPEX and HC...) within the deadline to anticipate any potential drift or opportunity (budget overspending, delay in projects...). Alert the site management and propose the necessary corrective actions. Guarantee the respect of the corporate procedure within his/her area of responsibility: analytical allocations, accounting rules, provisions, investments and tax rules.
  • Develop Key performance metrics in order to facilitate the follow-up of the site performance. Propose concrete solutions and improvements to optimize the financial performance of the site. Benchmark as much as possible with comparable activities, internally or externally.
  • Approve and challenge the investments/purchases requests.
  • Ensure the proper calculation and analysis of the manufacturing standard costs (for current and budget period).
  • Ensure accuracy of inventory values and perform financial audit and physical inventory on a regular basis.
  • Develop the Risk Management Approach and implement the internal controls within his/her area of responsibility. Contribute to new procedures definition in collaboration with other finance departments. Perform necessary trainings.
  • Actively contribute to the projects of the site by producing or by validating the economic/ad' hoc studies. Actively participate to the implementation of the Information Systems projects (and any other project) impacting his/her area of responsibility.
  • Responsible for analyzing, reconciling and reviewing inventory valuation reports.
  • Performs account analysis and reconciliations.

Education, Skills, & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years of experience in Finance
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
    • Experience in Controlling a plus
  • Experience in audit, internal audit, operational management control
  • SAP experience is a plus.
  • Skills in accounting, finance, management, office automation and database
  • Data Analysis experience is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, rigor, courage
  • Experience in an international environment is a plus
  • Analytical and synthesizing capabilities
  • Ability to prepare & present data removing ambiguity or complexity
