Job Summary:

The UW-Madison School of Pharmacy seeks a detail-oriented, proactive, and organized Data Reporting and Admissions Specialist to join our dynamic PharmD admissions team. This position is responsible for the accurate management of critical applicant and student data across PharmD application systems, our Customer Relationship Management system (CRM), and the UW-Madison Student Information System (SIS), ensuring data integrity from application through enrollment. Key responsibilities include leading the coordination of the PharmD admission interviews, providing crucial data reporting and support to the Admissions Committee and Academic Affairs leadership, and compiling and analyzing key admission and current student metrics to support the ongoing assessment of processes and outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional data management and analytical skills, superior organizational abilities, and outstanding communication skills to effectively engage with prospective students and guide applicants, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to providing exceptional service.


Responsibilities:
Analyzes, plans, and creates complex data and report sets for academic and/or university program planning. Provides accurate and timely data to leadership for strategic decision making either within a school/college or institutional level.

  • 20% Designs, implements, and evaluates data reporting systems
  • 20% Inputs, maintains, and analyzes data in confidential databases and transfers data as needed
  • 20% Generates data-based annual reports of curricular and departmental outcomes
  • 20% Provides expert statistical consulting, analysis, and technical assistance on research projects, program assessment, and evaluation
  • 10% Plans, coordinates, and implements PharmD admission interviews
  • 10% Engages with prospective PharmD students to address inquiries, offer admissions guidance, and build strong, positive connections

Bachelor's Degree in related field required


Qualifications:

Required:
- Demonstrated experience in data entry, data management, and report generation.
- Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and data confidentially.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with all audiences, including students.

Preferred:
- Experience in a higher education setting.
- Proficiency in using student information systems and customer relationship management (CRM) platforms.

Full Time: 100%

This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.

Salary:

Minimum $53,000 ANNUAL (12 months) Depending on Qualifications

Employees in this position can expect to receive benefits such as generous vacation, holidays, and paid time off, competitive insurances and savings accounts, and retirement benefits through the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS).

Qualified candidates can expect to earn between $53,000 and $60,000. Candidates who are highly qualified may earn between $60,000 and $70,000. Exceptionally qualified candidates with additional education, experience, and/or specialized skills may be considered at a higher salary.
