Staffmark is hiring an experienced Welder in West Liberty, OH for a small, family-owned company that's been thriving for over 40 years. Schedule & Pay

Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay: $17-$18/hour, based on experience (DOE)

Position Overview

As a Welder, you'll use your skills to read blueprints, calculate measurements, inspect materials, and perform precise welds using various tools and torches. You'll be responsible for maintaining your equipment and ensuring high-quality, structurally sound results. This is a non-entry level position, requiring at least one year of welding experience and the ability to pass a welding test.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and welding specifications
• Measure and calculate the dimensions of the parts to be welded
• Inspect structures and materials for accuracy before welding
• Use torches and power supplies to perform welding tasks
• Monitor and adjust the welding process as needed
• Maintain welding equipment and follow all safety guidelines

Skills & Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on welding experience
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and work independently
• Ability to read labels, safety instructions, and blueprints
• Patience, attention to detail, and self-direction required
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn are helpful
