The Engineering Intern position in Kansas City, MO acts as support to the applications sales team. They will participate in customer facing meetings to determine initial application requirements and subsequent process design.

This is a 10-12-week internship, with the opportunity for extension.

Work You'll Do:

* Participate in customer meetings discussing project scope

* Assist application engineers in determining appropriate process equipment

* Conduct material bench tests to define characteristics

* Generate preliminary process flow diagrams and equipment stack-ups in CAD

* Craft and submit detailed quotations and technical specifications in response to various inquiries and requests.

Basic Qualifications:

* High school diploma is required

* Currently enrolled in BS Engineering degree program (Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical)

* Will be at or beyond Junior status by August

* Effective communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality

* Highly organized and detail focused

* Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

* CAD Software Proficiency
