Associate, IT Operations Technician

The Associate, IT Operations Technician will be stationed in our employee helpdesk, serving as our first point of contact for technical issues. This customer service focused role is responsible for day-to-day support of our laptops, conference rooms, and software. This role has an emphasis on provisioning and deprovisioning new hires including laptop deployments. On-Call, after-hours support may be required on rare occasions.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair computer hardware and software
• Provide technical support for on-site events and conference rooms
• Deploy new hire laptops and upgrade existing employees to new laptops
• Administer access, permissions, and privileges for various systems
• Maintain clear and concise documentation of IT-internal and user-facing processes
• Monitor hardware inventory and keep key IT equipment in stock
• Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
• Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested

Skills and Qualifications:

• 1+ years of previous experience in Technology related field or Customer Service is preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong computer literacy
• Previous experience using ticketing software
• Installing, configuring, and using a variety of operating systems (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Linux)
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Okta preferred
• Demonstrated curiosity, desire to learn, and coachability

Compensation

• Annual base salary: $58,000-$70,000
• Target annual bonus percentage: 7.5%

*Starting pay will be based on several factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be different ranges for candidates by location.

Working Conditions:

We believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. We also know that it's helpful to have some flexibility to work remotely. Most roles work in the office 3+ days/week, and some are expected to work in the office 4-5 days/week. The current expectation for this role is that you are working in the office 5 days/week and that you are in the office full-time during the training period, for which the length varies by role. During an initial phone screen, the team will discuss expectations for this specific position.

The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
