Description
Acara Solutions is seeking a seasoned Vice President of Risk, Audit & Compliance to lead and oversee the organization's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Internal Audit, Vendor Management, BSA/AML, Business Continuity, Data Governance, and regulatory compliance functions. This role is instrumental in ensuring risk awareness, regulatory alignment, and operational resilience.
$175K - $225K Salary
Location: Anaheim Hills, CA | Hybrid (2 days in-office, 3 days remote)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee ERM, IA, VM, BSA/AML, BC, and DG programs across the organization.
  • Lead risk assessments, calculate metrics, refine risk appetite, and report key risks to leadership.
  • Chair the Enterprise Risk Management Committee (ERMCO).
  • Provide leadership for Compliance, IA, and BSA teams, ensuring all regulatory obligations are met.
  • Manage internal and external audits, regulatory exams, and outsourced assurance engagements.
  • Oversee the vendor management program and ensure policy compliance.
  • Maintain the business continuity and disaster recovery plans, including impact analyses and testing.
  • Act as liaison with auditors, regulators, and risk partners.
  • Support team investigations and uphold ethical, inclusive leadership standards.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting
  • 5 years minimum experience auditing or examining financial institutions.
  • 3 years minimum experience in risk and vendor management.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of IIA standards, GAAP, BSA/AML, COSO frameworks, and financial regulations.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CAMS, CRISC).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong regulatory interpretation and analytical skills.
