Overview: Veeco, Horsham is looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven Production Planner with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic to work in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment. In conjunction with the Manager, the Production Planner will work to execute focused supply chain solutions that support business objectives, inventory management, and new product development. The Production Planner will be responsible for planning activities that include the Master Planning/Scheduling function of Sub-Assemblies with a direct link to the higher-level Assembly Schedule to maximize on-time delivery to the customer. You will partner with Procurement, Logistics, Project Engineering, Manufacturing, and other groups to develop a production plan, inventory strategies, and tactics to manage Inventory. You will also support process improvement opportunities including Inventory management, excess, and obsolete inventory, and production materials flow. Responsibilities:
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience; or equivalent work experience. Strong understanding of MRP and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards related to End-to-End Supply Chain concepts. Experience in scheduling manufacturing and production control techniques. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The expected salary range for this position is $69,785--$88,390, plus a bonus opportunity.
