This Position reports to:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to optimize the Production organization's assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Each day, you will ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions in Mebane, NC.

You will be mainly accountable for:
*Defining the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget.
*Ensuring appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets.
*Identifying and recommending improvement opportunities and implements improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality, and cost requirements.
*Ensuring the production process complies with the project targets.
*Approving the design for processes developed internally or externally and performs final tests with respect to the project.
*Providing support to Production during the internal/external process/equipment start-up, defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources.
*Evaluating new process technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria, and external provider choices.

Qualifications for the role:

Bachelor's Degree: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
2 or more years of experience in the following:
Industry Experience: Previous work in a similar role within the electrical manufacturing industry and new manufacturing technologies for wiring and assembly process.
Project Management: Experience managing projects from conception through to completion, Transfer of Technology/Work, New Product Introduction, Product Standardization.
Process Improvement: Background in process optimization and quality control to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
Electrical Knowledge: Experience of low and medium voltage systems, including components like circuit breakers, busbars, disconnect switches, and protective relays.
ERP System(SAP Torque/AMSAP): Knowledge on Material Master setup, BOM Structure, Manufacturing routing, Material requirements, Component Allocation is preferred.
CAD Software(Desired): Experience in computer-aided design software for designing and modeling mechanical and electrical systems, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo Design and Viewer, EPLAN Pro Panel.
Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing is preferred.
