Desktop Support Technician
This is an onsite position in Arlington, TX and candidate is expected to work during shift hours. Shift: Monday - Friday; 7:30am to 4:00pm CST or 8:00am to 5:00pm CST A TEKsystems client is seeking a Desktop Support Technician resource to assist in the support of PC's, Printer's and RF devices used by Global Logistics associates in their Arlington, TX distribution Facility. Support can consist of day to day trouble calls or user requests, supporting on-going projects related to these types of devices and routine device maintenance / upkeep. The potential candidate must be reasonably adept in troubleshooting problems with some or all of these types of devices, communicating and follow-up with end users of various levels within the organization, along with providing excellent customer service. This resource will be supporting local end users (Global Logistics associates) with approximately 25 tickets per shift, per person. Technologies: Windows 10/11 and Office 365. Additional, this resource will be working with: -Microsoft Office 365 -Laser Jet Printers -Supporting Zebra Label Printers -AS 400 (experience with Client Access preferred) -RF (Radio Frequency) Devices (this candidate needs experience with Wireless Network Connectivity) -Candidate will be troubleshooting the following: Outlook / Microsoft Office / Word / Excel -This candidate will need basic Networking skills in order to effectively communicate with the Network Engineer -ServiceNow Ticketing System Pluses Include: -Network + Certification -A+ Certification Candidate must have a cell phone for receiving calls from Desktop Lead or Manager regarding high priority tickets. Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Arlington, TX and candidate is expected to work 40 hours/week. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
